in June 2008, Canines in Crisis is a Non-Profit Animal Rescue organization with 501(c)(3)
status, licensed by the Department of Agriculture. Canines in Crisis is dedicated to helping dogs in
high kill shelters, ones whose owners have lost their homes or are
deploying over seas. Please contact us if you are interested in
adoption, fostering or volunteering.
in Crisis Inc. has successfully adopted over 750 dogs. That would have
not been possible without your donations. Please click the "Donate"
button below and help us continue our mission. Thank You!
For a $15.00 donation your dog will receive a permanent form of ID to better the chances of you and your furry family being reunited if ever they become lost.
Over 6.5 million pets have been enrolled in the HomeAgain Micro-chip System and over 600,00 have been recovered and returned safely home. Collars and tags can fall off leaving your pet without ID but a micro-chip is with your pet forever.
How does Micro-chipping work?
Micro-chips are implanted form of ID the size of a grain of rice. They do not contain a battery making them functionally reliable for the life of your pet. This inexpensive chip is implanted between your pets shoulder blades just under the skin and is equipped with an individual identification number.
